An Ecstatic End and Blooming Beginnings

 "Every end is a new beginning" 

 

 

Swasti, well-being at your doorstep. These words were the driving force of the students of Hansraj Model School as they embarked on their entrepreneurial journey during the session 2022-23. Team Kaagaz and Oxyzone worked relentlessly to build two triumphant enterprises. The students participated in mini-competitions and honed their skills as budding entrepreneurs. Both the business ideas were not only profitable but also drove the eco-friendly message home. As a result of the hard work and dedication put in, Kaagaz achieved Silver Award Level and Oxyzone achieved the Gold Award Level in the School Enterprise Challenge 2022. 

Madam Principal, Heemal Handoo Bhat received the Head Teacher Award and under her guidance and mentorship, Anurag Gaba reached the Enterprising Student- Runner Up Level.



Swasti has achieved great heights in the past two years and is all ready to endeavour and get ready for this year 2023-24. For this year's School Enterprise Challenge, we are a team of 33 Hansarians (and counting!) devoted to our entrepreneurial journey. 

This year's enterprise, Phulwari, will upcycle flowers to create an array of enthralling products with them. We preserve dried fallen or waste flowers and reuse them. We started with creating aromatic candles, lamps and resin art. The motive is simple "Refuse what you do not need; reduce what you do need". For the smooth and efficient working of the enterprise, the team has been grouped to bring out each and every student's best potential. From a well equipped production team to an invigorating marketing team, Phulwari has covered it all.


With contagious enthusiasm, we participated in the first mini-competition of the session and made a comic strip, depicting the journey with it. 

The team also worked on making dream posters, before starting our entrepreneurial journey to get a moment to reflect on what all of us as individual people would like to get out of the experience. We really enjoyed brainstorming and being creative with the activity. The experiences we gained together through this journey ignited wonder, curiosity and passion for doing better than our best!
