Phulwari- Inaugral Stall

The students of Hansraj Model School participated enthusiastically in their annual School Enterprise Challenge, showcasing their student-led enterprise, Phulwari. This initiative aims to promote entrepreneurship, teamwork, and creativity among the students.Phulwari, the school's student-led enterprise, specializes in creating handmade decor pieces using dried flowers as the focal point. Their inaugural stall on October 20, 2023, in front of the school reception from 8:30 am to 11:00 am was a resounding success. They presented a diverse range of handcrafted decor pieces, from glass bottles with fairy lights to jars with aromatic candles, all designed to add a touch of nature and artistry to homes, especially for the festive season.These decor pieces were meticulously crafted by the students to ensure high quality and durability. To determine appropriate pricing and cost-effectiveness, the products were categorized into five different price ranges. The successful sales at the inaugural stall not only demonstrated the demand for their unique decor pieces but also provided valuable insights into customer preferences. The fact that all items were sold out indicated a high demand for their artistic offerings. Moreover, the students had the opportunity to engage with customers, gather feedback, and gain a better understanding of the market's desires.


Under the guidance of Head Mentor Madam Principal Heemal H Bhat, the students learned various aspects of entrepreneurship, including planning, production, marketing, and persuasion. Beyond these skills, this endeavor had a significant impact on the school community's environmental consciousness. By focusing on handcrafted decor and promoting its value, the stall encouraged sustainability in design and consumption. It fostered a deeper appreciation for environmentally-friendly practices and the importance of responsible, eco-conscious choices among the students and the school community.
