ONE INVESTMENT, TWO WAYS

Keeping this faithful learning in our creative minds, we, the members of SWASTI- SCHOOL ENTERPRISE OF HANSRAJ MODEL SCHOOL, successfully set up the stalls on the desired date of 2nd of August 2025. The stalls were a great medium of exchange of handmade art, the purest symbol of magic of the human hands, and creativity; mixed with motive of reduce-reuse-recycle. The stalls were a great place for communicative learning, emphasized the experience of pitching a person who plays a vital role in any business or start up. The students were induced to an open atmosphere for real-time learning through selling of various items like seed Rakhis , shell earrings , repurposed mugs etc. Our creativity and care for the environment do not stop here. Taking our commitment a step further, the team at Swasti prepared Organic Compost. Made from biodegradable waste collected during our activities, these packets not only prevent valuable organic matter from ending up in landfills but also nourish the soil, close the loop of waste, and promote healthier, greener spaces in our community. The prices were kept low to not only engage people to buy the products but to amplify the significance of using by-products in a useful and innovative way. For instance, the rakhis were made with the help of seeds so that when a person is about to untie the rakhi, he/she don’t have to throw away or dispose it. They can simply plant it for sustainable environment . The customers showed a keen interest in this idea and were nostalgic about their old gold days through the products.. This is from where the idea of ‘ONE INVESTMENT, TWO WAYS’ struck our young minds. The students were excited, even keen, dedicated and embedded with the values of learning something new. This enthusiasm is what we really need in our life and in our day to day working.

An Ecstatic End and Blooming Beginnings

 "Every end is a new beginning"      Swasti, well-being at your doorstep. These words were the driving force of the students of Hansraj Model School as they embarked on their entrepreneurial journey during the session 2022-23. Team Kaagaz and Oxyzone worked relentlessly to build two triumphant enterprises. The students participated in mini-competitions and honed their skills as budding entrepreneurs. Both the business ideas were not only profitable but also drove the eco-friendly message home. As a result of the hard work and dedication put in, Kaagaz achieved Silver Award Level and Oxyzone achieved the Gold Award Level in the School Enterprise Challenge 2022.  Madam Principal, Heemal Handoo Bhat received the Head Teacher Award and under her guidance and mentorship, Anurag Gaba reached the Enterprising Student- Runner Up Level. Phulwari- Inaugral Stall

The students of Hansraj Model School participated enthusiastically in their annual School Enterprise Challenge, showcasing their student-led enterprise, Phulwari. This initiative aims to promote entrepreneurship, teamwork, and creativity among the students.Phulwari, the school's student-led enterprise, specializes in creating handmade decor pieces using dried flowers as the focal point. Their inaugural stall on October 20, 2023, in front of the school reception from 8:30 am to 11:00 am was a resounding success. They presented a diverse range of handcrafted decor pieces, from glass bottles with fairy lights to jars with aromatic candles, all designed to add a touch of nature and artistry to homes, especially for the festive season.These decor pieces were meticulously crafted by the students to ensure high quality and durability.
