The journey of SWASTI.

Living in 21st century, making a right choice is the most important task to sustain. Life offers multiple options but to choose wisely and judiciously is necessary.

“Swasti-well being at your doorstep” the student’s led business enterprise of Hansraj Model School has always been dedicated towards making the right choice for a sustainable future.

Our strategy is quite simple yet effective. We align our thoughts and products with upcoming events or festivals to grab customer’s attention. For example, recently, the festival of Rakhi approached, where we decided to feature our hero product, "Seed Rakhis," which served the same purpose as others available in the market but were also environment friendly and could be used for more than one purpose. This way, we were successful in drawing customers towards the stall and not only making them buy our hero product but also encouraging them to look at our other related products.

Our graphic designers ensure that their creative visuals are beautifully showcased on posters, which are then used for campaigning and better outreach. Although the school club is well-known within the school, these posters, campaigns, regular stalls, and announcements increase the possibility of attracting more consumers next time. We try to explain our objectives and goals to customers while pitching our products, so the positive cause may draw them towards buying the product and being part of a change.

We focus on building a business which has regular customers and for the same, we make sure to let them know when, where, and about what our next stall would be, to keep the enthusiasm in them and our team alive.

The team plans on selling the products during regular parent-teacher meetings held in school. We prefer choosing a means of selling products that is convenient, accessible, and affordable for parents and students. Our main focus is to sell our products on a platform that doesn't primarily seek profit but aims to create awareness about the fact that even used and discarded materials can be turned into something useful and artistic.

Setting up stalls and drives in school allows us to reach teachers, parents, and students together. This not only benefits us by creating better outreach but also helps in the complete and successful sale of products. One thing we always look forward to is feedback. Considering the fact that our stalls and drives are conducted within the school, although the scope is limited, maximum satisfaction is obtained with the sale of products and valuable feedbacks.

We also put up our stalls at every other event conducted in the school, ensuring that our products are in sync with the event or the environment at that time. Thankfully, we have loyal and repeated customers.

The team has been constantly working and building something meaningful since 2019. Winning various awards and recognitions throughout our Journey. The unwavering support snd motivation from our principal maam is what keeps us inspired.

  • In 2022 our student Anurag Gaba won enterprising student runner up award and was gifted a camera from Teach A Man To Fish organisation based in United Kingdom.
  • In 2023, our honourable Principal Madam was awarded with head teacher award, such prestigious winnings are a proof of the hard-work done by the students and the teachers at every level.

Our team, not only focuses on the completion of tasks but also on making a meaningful change.

We aspire to keep this spirit continued under the guidance of our respectful teachers.

“If it can’t be reduced, reused, repaired, rebuilt, refurbished, refinished, resold, recycled, or composted, then it should be restricted, designed or removed from production.”
